how to play
retropets is a browser pet game for ages 13 and up. pets and flowers stay safe while you are away.
adopt a pet
register and use your first adoption token. choose its name and colours.
care for it
open a pet from my pets to feed or pet it. gather free food once a day in the garden. feeding and petting give experience once per pet each day.
send it exploring
choose a trail, then return when the trip is ready. finds, seeds, coins, and experience are waiting for you. there are 2 trips a day and one trip at a time.
grow your garden
click an empty garden space to plant seeds. water growing flowers to shorten the wait, then record new blooms in your collection. crafting uses finds; breeding combines two grown flowers.
collect and dress up
buy hats and accessories in the shop, or earn them through play. open a pet's clothes form to equip an owned item. your collection records stay even after using or gifting items.
visit other players
find a player to see their pets, rate their profile, or leave a note of up to 128 characters. gifts come from items you own. notes are public; gift details and birth dates are private.
daily limits reset at 00:00 utc. missed days do not remove progress, and finished trips do not expire.
